ประวัติความเป็นมา

               In accordance with the directives of the National Police Agency on the assignment of agencies, their jurisdictions and responsibilities stated on Government Administrative Areas (No.15) 2016 and published in the Government Gazette Volume 133, Special Section 105 Ngor, on May 10, 2016, a new immigration checkpoint shall be established. It is separated from Ranong Immigration. The office will be under the authority of the Immigration Bureau 6 and Chief Inspector, the head of the office. There are 27 officers in charge and divided into 10 commissioned officers and 17 non-commissioned officers.  

Immigration in Chumphon Province commence operations in accordance with the authority granted by the Immigration Central Office since May 11, 2016, with permission from the Chumphon Provincial Administrative Organization. It holds office at the Tourism Public Relations Center building of Chumphon Provincial Administrative Organization located inside Pathomphon Bus Terminal, with addressed at 23/11, Moo. 1, Khun Krathing Sub-District, Muang District, Chumphon Province. It is a one-story building with one room and with a usable area of about 49 square meters. It is a temporary office of the Immigration Chumphon Province.  Its main work is divided into 3 parts, namely, administrative and support work, foreign service work and investigation, and suppression.  

In 2020, Immigration in Chumphon Province received a budget for the construction of an office building in the amount of 25,490,000 Baht. The construction contract was started on September 28, 2020, and was completed on December 22, 2021. The inspection committee unanimously agreed to accept the finished building on December 28, 2021.
